Darah brings years of regional and municipal economic development experience to her current role at the city of Goodyear. She joined the city's Economic Development team in September 2015 from WESTMARC; a regional coalition of government, education, and business leaders advocating for the West Valley’s economic prosperity. At WESTMARC, she held the title of Director of Marketing, Communications, and Strategy, as well as having the honor to serve as the Interim President & CEO. Darah also served one year as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at West Valley Arts Council leading up to the launch of the Arts HQ performance and art gallery.

Prior to her current position of Deputy Director, Darah served as a Project Manager for advanced business services, e-commerce, higher education, life sciences, and small business development. She holds the distinction as the longest-serving manager of Goodyear’s InnovationHub, mentoring hundreds of entrepreneurs and small business owners as they launch and grow their businesses.
