About
Kristin Zipprich brings nearly two decades of experience in both public and private sector operations, with expertise in strategic planning, process improvement, and organizational development. She joined the city of Goodyear in 2017 and transitioned to the Economic Development Department in June 2025, where she supports initiatives that drive business development and citywide growth.
Kristin has held pivotal roles across multiple departments, including Engineering and Human Resources. She has provided executive-level support, led municipal budgeting and project coordination, launched programs to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture, and played a key role in implementing Goodyear’s CIP project management system. Known for her ability to streamline workflows and lead organizational change, she consistently delivers results through a combination of analytical insight and practical execution. Her work reflects high standards, strong collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
She earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Agency Management, graduating Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University, and holds an Associate of Arts in Business from the University of Phoenix. Kristin is a Certified Public Manager (CPM), a Public Sector HR Certified Professional (PSHRA-CP), and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®). She is also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, using a strengths-based approach to leadership and team development.
